He is getting bigger and bigger... Will he stop growing? He's three months old and I can't believe it! He still loves to sleep. He goes to work with me 2 days a week and he does great. We had a busy month in May. My nephew Cade had his 2nd birthday, Will was dedicated in church and we went to Gilmer for Memorial day... Will has started loving the T.V. he just stares at it! He also found his tongue this month. He had his first breakfast date with mom and dad, which mom is hoping will become a family favorite :). He has started to try to turn over and is grabbing his toys...

April 2009

Now, we are really settled :)... The hardest part of having a newborn for me is: NO SLEEP!!!!! I'm not good at it... Never have been but hopefully will be someday :). God has blessed me with a sleeper! Will has been sleeping through the night since he was six weeks old. It has changed my life. He is a very, very, very laid back baby. We can take him anywhere and he is just cool. He's like, "Aint no thang." He loves to sleep in the car, on the couch, on the bed, in the crib... really just anywhere. He's like his mom. We love to sleep. Will is 11lbs 8oz, and 24 3/4 inches long. He is in the 95th% for height! He had his first babysitter on April 1st... YAYA. I also went back to work the second week of April. The third week of April he found his hands!

March 2009

March was a really fun month... We were really getting settled into the "having a baby thing," and getting into a somewhat normal routine. Will was really growing and we tried so hard to capture everything we could...

A Surprise Visit

My brother Tony moved to Colorado Springs in August of 2008. It was sad to see him go so far but exciting for him to move to such a beautiful place... I knew it would be hard for me when it came time for Will's birth. I wanted my whole family to be there when he was born, but I knew Tony was where he was supposed to be. The week before Will was born my doctor told me I wouldn't make it to Valentine's Day. I didn't know that Patrick and Tony were talking and trying to figure out when he should come. He had actually planned on coming in the weekend of Valentine's Day to surprise me and hopefully make the delivery. Will decided to come early but the day after he was born guess who walked into the room??!!

It was awesome to see Tony there and to see him holding his nephew! I was happy he drove all that way just to be with us. It was really special. We love uncle Tony!

Side note: My sister in law, Mindy drove in from Abilene and got there right after he was born. I texted her at about 5am because I didn't want to wake anyone up. When she checked her phone in the morning she bolted up, packed up herself and two kids and got there as fast as she could. We are so blessed to have such an amazing family!
