Playing catch up....

January was a great, but uncomfortable month! We started the New Year in Steamboat with a great dinner to celebrate Ron and Azu's anniversary. The next day we traveled home and started to get ready for Will's arrival. I had an amazing shower with some really wonderful friends. After the shower my family helped get Will's room put together. We hung the shelves, positioned the furniture (several times) and put everything in it's place...


We also had a really special delivery in the month of January. On January 15, 2009, Luke Jeffrey Schlelgel was born!!!! I don't have a picture of him that day (not sure why) but I do have one of Jamie!
What a special day and I was really blessed to be a part of it. Funny story about that day: We were in the waiting room, waiting patiently for Luke to arrive. Everytime a baby was born they played a special song over the intercom. There were lots of babies being born that day, therefore the song came on a lot! Everytime the song came on, Pattycake (Jamie's mom) would bolt out of her seat and say, "Is that my baby!" Then she would take off down the hall to find out. It was hilarious. After about six time of this it finally was "our baby". Patty was trying to wait patiently in the hall to be invited in when this nurse passed her pushing a newborn to the nursery. Patty thought it had to be hers! She started running after the nurse. The man walking beside the nurse just gave her a strange look and said, "This is my baby." It was too funny. She finally got in the room to see "her baby" and all was well... Luke is the cutest thing.
